What is TERMINUS
A self-hosted portfolio analytics platform for multi-asset investors — institutional-grade tooling without the institutional cost.
Bloomberg Terminal access costs around $24,000 per year. Broker platforms are fragmented by asset class — ASX equities live in one app, US equities in another, crypto in a third. None of them give you a unified view of how your portfolio behaves as a whole: sector exposure, regime sensitivity, signal-weighted conviction.
TERMINUS tracks a portfolio spanning ASX equities, US equities, and crypto in a single interface. It runs a dual signal engine (Core for long-term value accumulation, Adaptive for trend-following), a macro regime detector that modulates signal weights in real time, a TradingView-style sector heatmap built on live market-cap data, and a Telegram alert pipeline for price crossings and regime changes.
The entire stack runs on $6/month of Hetzner compute using free-tier APIs — yfinance, FRED, CoinGecko, Finnhub. All monetary values are stored as Decimal, not float. No rounding errors, no broker middleware. Full control.
About
Jamison Proppe is a second-year student at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, focused on quantitative finance, equity research, and the engineering behind professional finance tooling. He built TERMINUS to track his own multi-asset portfolio across ASX equities, US equities, and crypto — and to learn the systems that sit behind platforms like Bloomberg Terminal.
Live in production since April 2026.
